CLIC SARGENT

CLIC Sargent is our main charity here at the Peel. For years we have been supporting this children's cancer trust. So Far we have raised over £27,000 through charity events such as raffles, music festivals and food over our beer and cider festivals.

£1.50- Could help pay for a set of colourful storybooks for a child under the age of 10. These are used to illustrate and help them understand the cancer they are going through.

​

£8- Could help pay for a DVD that will help a young person with cancer to return to school, helping them keep up with their studies and deal with the changes they are faced.

​

£20- Could pay for a CLIC Sargent Play specialist to help a child prepare and cope with treatment.

​

£50- Could mean that a CLIC Sargent Social Worker can be there soon after diagnosis, talking to a family one-on-one.

​

£100- Could pay for specialist benifits advice for several families, reducing the financial impact of cancer.

​

£300- Could pay for an average family stay of 11 days in a Home from Home- close to where the child is receiving treatment.

£780- Could help pay for a CLIC Sargent Young Development Worker for a week, helping young people maintain a sense of normality.
